Who is D.J.?

D.J. Anwari has been cast as a villain, a best friend, and — once, memorably — a very calm hostage negotiator. He trained at the Alliance Theatre, cut his teeth across three years of Atlanta indie sets, and now writes and directs the kind of small, funny, aching films he wishes he'd grown up watching.
